University of Dayton selects StatBroadcast for 2012-2013

DAYTON, OHIO -- The University of Dayton and StatBroadcast Systems have entered into an agreement for the 2012-2013 school year to use the StatBroadcast Live system for the school's athletic events, as well as the StatMonitr media stats system and StatMonitr wireless stat screens.

Dayton is a private university located in Ohio with an enrollment of about 11,000. The Dayton Flyers compete at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Atlantic Ten Conference and the Pioneer Football League, and sponsor 16 varsity sports. The Flyers have won multiple national championships in football at the I-AA level, and have won three NIT championships in men's basketball and advanced to the NCAA championship game on one occassion as well. The men's basketball team also regularly ranks at the top of NCAA Division I for home attendance.

Dayton has also served as the site of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament play-in game for the 64th- and 65th-seeded teams from 2007-2010, and now hosts the "First Four", the four play-in games that serve as the first round of the tournament.
